Co curricular activities help in holistic development of students and assist in developing critical skills and abilities to be successful and happy in the 21^st century life and workplace. These activities are vital because even though they are not a part of the core curriculum, they play a very crucial role in giving the young boys and girls the ability to shape up their lives. Vimala has been providing more and more opportunities to explore their interests and abilities through conducting various co-curricular activities listed below.

The martial art, Karate is a part of the co-curricular activity in our school .It enhances their development in skills and principles that needs to be used in personnel growth and self defense .Students undergo this training by professionals, who come over during the scheduled period and conduct classes.

Dance is a holistic exercise that builds one’s mind and body. Dance teaches children about music, rhythm and beat. We have dance classes for various categories led by professionals during the scheduled periods. Students display their talents in various dance forms every year on school annual day and other occasions.

Music is a treasured aspect of our culture with its large impact on human life. Music is considered as a therapy for good health and wellness. We have allotted music classes from classes 1 to 10 scheduled on various periods. Students participate in music competitions to show cast their talents.

Home science is a practical science that is essential for every individual to handle challenging responsibilities of the life. Vimala categorizes the students into three sections and provides home science classes appropriate to them. Students exhibit their talents during school exhibition conducted every year.

Drawing is one of the most important activities for students, as it provides basis for other creative activities .It can also provide a direct link to reading and writing. Our students undergo this training by professionals on scheduled periods. Drawing is also integrated with other subjects as well.

All these activities encourage our students to delve deeper into the activities and subject area that they are passionate about. Our primary goal is to incite passion and provide a funny way to discover and embrace the spirit of relentless learning inside as well as outside the classroom so that they can realize their  different interests and passion
